🍫 KENJO AKIRA OPEN PAWST 🍫
Want to play with Akira? Fetch one of the topics below and let's mix it up!
1.) Welcome to the KiraKira Patisserie! Please let this waiter assist you in choosing the perfect sweet.
2.) You looked troubled, so Akira volunteered to assist you. She'll do anything. Anything.
3.) New neighbors (or dormmates, or w/e) have just moved in next door to you. Go meet them!
4.) This amazing dessert you just finished creating has had all its tastiness sucked out of it by a monster! Can you fight back yourself, or do you have to send up a howl for help?
5.) Akira was testing a new kind of frosting and something has gone terribly wrong. What's worse, she just got knocked off-balance. Now you're stuck together!
6.) What are those sounds of despair coming from the stack of medical textbooks next to you in the library?
7.) Obligatory beach episode! Surfing, beach volleyball, watermelon breaking....tug of war?
8.) Retrieve a prompt from the fluff generator.
9.)

10.) Wildcard! Treat me to your own idea.

Careful, this is heavy.
[ Your tray. ]

I'm stronger than I look. Don't worry.
[She takes the tray, and though she shows signs of visibly straining, she's able to place it on her lap.]
Thank you. Seriously.

[ But this smile is acknowledging and appreciating the earnest moment. She knows that's tough for Yukari, so she doesn't want to make too big a deal out of it.
But she also wants Yukari to know - it's seen. Yukari is seen.
Always. ]

Well, anything to help the future great doctor, Akira Kenjou-san.
[She picks up her spoon, taking a small bit of the ice cream. She eats it, quietly, and lets out a small sigh after swallowing.]
That's such a relief...

[ Akira, for her part, is cooling down this compress in some ice water, wringing it out, and trying to find some spare bed to sit upon to help with this. ] Wiping you down now, okay?
[ So you won't be startled by the cold. Here we go... ]

I suppose I should be glad I didn't fall asleep with make up on, mm?
no subject
Getting this uncomfortable sweat off of her comes first, though. Akira works with surety, applying gentle but firm pressure. ]

[Yukari shudders. Truly the darkest timeline. But Akira's gentle caretaking nonetheless causes her to smile.]
... Though I suppose if you were the one to see me that way, I could manage.

[ If Yukari can make these kinds of comments, then she's feeling better. Akira is glad.
But...there's your face...neck...shoulders... ]
Is anywhere else uncomfortable?
no subject
[Mm. That feels better, for now at least.]
My throat and lungs. But that's beyond your reach for now.

[ Akira sets the towel aside. ]
no subject
[She takes another bite, letting the taste linger before swallowing it down.]
...
You know. I just realized I've never taken care of you like this, when you were sick.
no subject
[ Akira does her best to sit close without being uncomfortable warmth. ] Is that something...you'd want to do?
[ She tries to not get sick, since she still can't shake the feeling every time she does that she's let people down (it's irrational, she knows - getting sick is natural and she never holds it against anybody else). So it's not really like Yukari would have had that many opportunities.
But... ]
no subject
[She lets out a sigh, staring into her ice cream.]
It's far past time I grew up, you know? I've been all over the world, but I found myself back into your arms and let you dote upon me. It makes me feel happy, Akira, but at the same time... I want to be what you are for me, too.
[She lets out a small cough, before covering her mouth.]
... I apologize if that sounds selfish.
no subject
[ Let's see if that fever has come down - with a forehead kiss. After which, she actually looks something close to self-conscious. ]
I'm...probably not very good at being doted on, either....so we can both practice.
[ She knows she's Like This. And she's okay with that, but she also doesn't want her feelings for others and the way she tries to express them to stifle the people she cares about. She wants everyone, both herself and her loved ones, to live true to who they are. If this is how Yukari can feel that way - Akira is up for the challenge!
She's going to probably be a worse patient than Yukari is a nurse, though. It won't be intentional. But she'll suck at it. ]
no subject
It'll be good practice for both of us...
[And her mouth twists into a mischievous grin, as Yukari finds her old self amidst it all.]
We'll both have someone to take care of someday after all.

Eh?

[The look on Yukari's face is absolutely evil.]

.....
..........
[ WERE WE REALLY ONLY TALKING ABOUT MIKU?! ]
no subject
I adore Miku. Of course I'd be okay with it.
...
...
But. Uhm. I wouldn't mind one of our own, you know?
[Leaving that open enough, figuring Akira could figure out what she means easily enough.]
no subject
[ Do you really want to inflict this dadmom on a child, Yukari
This fretting, overprotective dadmom who now is warmer than you and you're the one with the fever.... ]
no subject
Is that upsetting? I mean... I've honestly always wanted one. And after meeting Mirai and Riko, and Nono-san and Hugtan, it's been something I've thought about...
[Yukari is legitimately worried she's crossed a line here.]
no subject
[ After all, there are two ways to get a baby. One is adoption, and the other involves one of the two of them
one of th-the two of them
akira you are going into medicine why is this overwhelming
But she gets over the awkwardness and grins. ] I'd love to expand our family with you.
no subject
Thank you, Akira. I... You've made me really happy.
[... And then she has to ruin it by letting out a very unelegant-sounding snrrrk. Damn congestion.]
no subject
[ Akira gets up to deposit this washcloth and basin of water in easy reach if they need it later. ] Rest is the best medicine.
